THE DISTRICT

From its real name, Pogle burg, the lower class' Bourg.

But the Kahn Daoine, the Masters of Cathaïr Mùndi, were the only persons to call it so: everybody here called it the District.

All Djinnkirs, or almost all of them, had grown up there.
For it was in this strange and giant ghetto that all indigent, undesirable and immigrant people were born or passed away. Especially immigrants. It was unavoidable. So it was said by the Law of the Tevekh Rhaizdé, the Roots' Law. So it was said by the Masters of Cathaïr. The commoners' mess couldn't mix with the Great and Beaut

Le Quartier .

De son vrai nom, Pogle Bùrg, le Bourg du Petit Peuple.

Mais il n'y avait bien que les Kahn Daoine,  les maîtres de Cathaïr Mùndi, pour l'appeler ainsi: tout le monde  ici l'appelait le Quartier.

Tous les Djinnkirs ou presque avaient grandi là bas.
Parce que c'était dans cet étrange et gigantesque ghetto que tous les indigents, les indésirable et les immigrés naissaient… ou finissaient.  Surtout les immigrés. C'était inévitable. Ainsi le voulait la loi du Tévekh Raïzhdé, la loi des Racin
