Cathair Mùndi was a video game project I made for my diploma... and I decided to adapt it into a comic book. Here a test page I haven't finished: there is a vignette (I don't find the english word) I haven't drawn. I don't think I'll finish it: I prefer make another one. I don't like the colors and the drawing, I would like it would be more understandable, more clear, with less elements, less colors... so I think I'll make another one. I would like something between the Wakfu and the Sky Doll design.
Cathaïr Mùndi is a engaged comic book that takes place in an oriental steampunk world with immigrant heroes... The main story talks about the fight between the Sidhe (the world of the Deads) and the Living Cathaïr Mùndi but the background refers to serious subjects like the overconsumption or the racism and its prejudices...
The 19th century in Europe is a "social" century, many social movements, revolutions and utopias are born in this century. Communism, Anarchism, Mutualism, with many fabulous philosophers like Karl Marx or Joseph Proudhon... I never understood why the other steampunk creations, (steampunk novels, comic books etc... ) don't really talk about these interesting movement: they really represent the 19th century!!!
